Day 4

 Dear Diary, 

Day 4 was pretty ordinary in the first half. Work, corrections, the routine. I was trying very hard to find the One Happy Thing in this monotony. However everything changed in the evening. Lots of things made happy. 

a. Mail. 

I received an email from a dear friend who started as my neighbour in the Hostel. It felt so wonderful reading her letter, her Christmas card and receiving such a thoughtful gift from her. It reminded me of how much I miss writing : letters, postcards. Sending and receiving them. 

b. The Christmas Star. 

Looking at the Star shining in all it's splendour filled me with immense happiness and hope.
