O is for OPPORTUNITY

Dear Diary,

                                       Today's word for O is OPPORTUNITY.

                                       People wait for that One Opportunity to come their way, that will set things right. I guess that's why they say that, "Opportunities strike only once."

                                  While that maybe the case, often people fail to realize that everyday is a new Opportunity. You get another chance to live your life, to make mends with the people you once fought with, to forgive those who have hurt you, to show unconditional love to your near and dear ones, to be yourself and win the world.

                                  In the timeless wait for the great opportunities to knock at our door, we miss the small ones that we get everyday, the opportunity to make a new friend, to learn from an experienced colleague, to spend quality time with our friends and family, to bring a smile to someone's face, to pray for someone in need, to make a crying person laugh.

                                    So starting today, Don't let the small opportunities slide by. Seize them, and use them to the fullest. Don't cry about an opportunity which is lost, smile for the next one, which is already on it's way, Look out, It may be knocking on your door right now.
